Totally laughable, I know! But it’s true! Honestly I guess I never understood the craze behind it. But you guys, I bought a couple things and the deals were crazy, so I wanted to share with you what I bought and basically admit that I have been totally missing out.
This cute striped Madewell peplum shirt! My uniform game is getting stronger with this addition to my closet. Stripes + jeans are my jam.

These Freshly Picked moccasins for Mara. There were plenty of sizes in store so if you’re thinking of checking out the sale in person you should grab a pair for that baby in your life.

I’m a big fan of Nordstrom because of its customer service, free shipping/returns, generous return policy and the salads in their cafe. Fun fact: Nordstrom will price match things– I’ve totally googled something I’ve fallen in love with in the store to see if I can get a better price elsewhere and had it matched by the sales associate.
It is the only store I have a store credit card for, which gets me rewards credit, free alterations and early access to the sales. This time around I got a few things: Eileen Fisher pants, Zella workout capris, a S’well waterbottle (its very hard to find these on sale), Nike Flyknits, and a Moving Comfort sports bra. I love the sports bra and it sold out during the early access, but everything else is still available.
I think if you are a regular Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack shopper then the store card is worthwhile, but if you only shop there during the sale it probably isn’t.
Great tips! And it sounds like you scored some great stuff as well. How do you like the Zella workout wear? We shop nordstrom for some things (native kids shoes, makeup, etc). And you’re right, their customer service is renowned!

I like them because they are high waisted so they feel supportive and I don’t run the risk of exposing myself during a forward fold in yoga. They are much thicker than my old standby workout capris from Old Navy, but that’s probably a good thing! The sizing on the site was accurate in my experience.
