Apparently I’m leaning towards all things ‘simple’ lately, first with the kids table setting, then with the grown-up table, and now decorating for the holidays starting with this corner of our home.
Target is significantly on point this year with their holiday decor. I scooped up this trio of trees as soon as I saw them, and I think I used the cartwheel app for 20% off – not bad! I sprinkled mini ornaments, balanced out the credenza with a couple white vases (also from Target!) and called it a day! (Tutorial on the credenza here).
My other favorite addition is the puff ball wreath, which I hung from our patio door with forrest green velvet ribbon. The wreath would be an easy DIY, but for the price, sometimes $50 is just worth your time to not spend a couple hours crafting and mess-making. See? I’m all about simplicity this year.
We plan to get our Christmas tree after baby girl arrives (this Friday! eek!). After Zano’s memorable delivery, we decided to schedule the delivery with baby no. 2, and honestly it’s removed a LOT of anxiety around how this delivery will fair.

Love your blog. Looking at this table…how does it hold up? Durable or no?
Thanks!

thank you! you’re asking about our dining table? It’s very durable, we love it! It is wood, so it has the tenancy to get scratched..
hi! where is your buffet from? so adorable!
It’s an Ikea Besta cabinet hack!
Beautiful room, I love blue and white. Those blue curtains are awesome and the puff ball wreath is really cool.
