We’re hosting Thanksgiving this year for the first time, and I actually couldn’t be more excited. There’s no stress on me this year – my husband is the one cooking! He rarely, rarely cooks, but when he does it’s Thanksgiving dinner.
Our home is pretty small, so we have to get creative with our seating arrangements. I have been eyeing this play table for Zano for a while now, and jumped at the opportunity to get it for the kids dinner table. I topped the kids table with a simple set-up: white melamine plates (non breakable!), wood cutlery, buffalo check napkins (which I sewed myself, this morning) and sprinkled some foliage and ornaments left over from decorating the adult table. I love how this table sings ‘holiday’ without feeling too Thanksgiving-y or Christmas-y. I also love how the kids can feel special without all the frills.
