It dawned on me yesterday that I never shared our new rug we added to our bedroom. I’m such a doof! This rug came to us at the perfect time actually, RugsUSA reached out to me at the same time I was planning our bedroom makeover. Initially I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go in designing our bedroom but once I found this rug everything else easily fell into place. I clearly have a love affaire with navy blue, and this vibrant navy rug captures it all!

Some changes are in the works for this room. Sadly, that headboard is on the chopping block. Any takers???
How funny, I was looking at this rug the other day! I’m not sure why I was miffed about it being out of stock since my bank account is in the same condition…
Has it shed much, and does it show pet hair?
It sheds a normal amount, I’ve had it about 4 months now and I think it’s finally done shedding, but i’ve had rugs that shed for years! so I’m happy this one wasn’t like that. Since it’s dark it will show light colored pet hair, but nothing a weekly vacuum can’t fix. in my opinion, i’d rather just vacuum up the hair than have a lighter rug that gets dirty from our pets!
The rug is perfect in there! The color is dead on :) Oh, if you ever want to get rid of your lady portrait I’d be happy to take it off your hands ;)

It looks so great! I saw that the rug is 100% jute but it looks so soft. How does the rug feel? I always assume jute is kind of scratchy.
Is it? Ha! Shows how much I pay attention, I had no idea it was jute! I guess that’s a testament to it’s softness LOL
