Hello! I hope everyone has had an excellent weekend. I ran a race today, it was fun and hard and I felt like killing myself at mile 9, but once I crossed that finish line I felt like I could do it again. Hmmm… that must be the reason I keep signing up for these races!
I wanted to share with you my recent find – a set of antique table trays that I found at my local salvage warehouse. Yes, I always have a ton of fun photographing items with my chalkboard wall as a backdrop…
I’m just stoked to play with eucalyptus leaves… but for reals, I thought it would be best to show you how we really plan to use these trays…
Our coffee table is an oversized, vintage storage trunk (that was once featured in a Gwyneth Paltrow film – that’s right, she placed her cute tush right on top of the trunk!) I digress…
My man and I typically spend our evenings watching eposides of our favorite shows (tonight it’s Arrested Development!), while browsing the internet (or cuddling). Our trunk is slightly too wide to pull close to the couch, so whenever we place snacks, beverages, remotes, etc we have to practically walk to the coffee table to take a sip or change the channel. First world problems, I know… but the minute I spotted these table trays, I knew they would solve our (lame) problem by making it easier to have small items at arms reach.
The best part is, my fiancee said, and I quote “this has to be the best purchase you’ve made”. Mission accomplished!
