Hello friends! Oh my gosh, this weekend has been incredible, I have something so exciting and completely mind blowing to share with you!
My BF and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary this weekend in San Diego, followed by a week in Disneyland with his family for our annual Disneyland trip. A week! It’s crazy, and so exciting, and all the Mickey madness began at 8am this morning!
Yesterday, we arrived in San Diego around noonish, picked up a delish sando from Which Wich, and headed off to visit our favorite sites around the city. We drove out to the Cabrillo monument on Point Loma to enjoy the view of the city and take a few pictures together.
The view is spectacular! We wanted to document the whole weekend, so first up was a pic together with San Diego as our backdrop. My BF asked a total stranger to take a photo of us, no biggie right? Then, “sir, will you please take one more?”
WE’RE ENGAGED!!!
How smart is he to ask someone to take photos?! I will have these images forever, to look at and cry over just like I am now.
I was shaking and hyperventilating here. I had absolutely no idea he was planning to propose on our quick vaca to SD, I am still in shock, I couldn’t be more elated!
Here’s to the beginning of the most exciting chapter in our lives! We are so happy and in love, and ready to take on the journey of life and family and love together.
We can’t stop smiling :)

Debbie, you’re so sweet! I wish we would have gotten a picture with the photographer. Him and his wife were so nice, the wife came running over and gave me a giant hug. The whole experience was so amazing.

Thank you Jenny! It was such a smart move to get a stranger to take pictures, I feel so lucky to have them, I was totally in shock when it happened it was hard to remember everything. These pictures will remind me forever :)
