Happy Monday y'all! I spent the majority of last week hanging out in Atlanta at the first ever Haven conference. It was my first trip to the South, and although I didn't get much opportunity to explore the city, I had a great time. I'm still absorbing the mass of information I learned at Haven, all the pretty faces I met, all the new found blogs I have queued up in my reader, and a list of blog upgrades I need to get to STAT!
I wanted to spend a minute and show you proof that I was in fact at Haven! Proof I met some AMAZING women. And proof I got enough courage to stand next to these DIY celebrities!
Yes! On the left, that is THE Ana White. She busted out a mud room bench/organizer during her session on the first day. In heels. ON the right, we have the stunning Shanty2Chic sisters! I love their blog and their work. I am excited to build a blog friendship with these two!
Up top, that's me looking like a giant next to the ever so petite Roeshel from the DIY Showoff. I love her work! Not sure if she remembered me since she features hundreds of projects a day, but I was lucky to have my gilded chair featured on her site earlier this year! Last but not least, I scored a pic (left to right) with Amanda from Serenity Now, Marian from Miss Mustard Seed, and Kate of Centsational Girl. I was SOOO hoping to sit and chitchat with Marian and confess my love for her talents, but alas I was too shy.

Bottom left, Ana White doing what she does best – build stuff in heels! And bottom right, Home Depot's Do it Herself painting station, where we all stopped to take a break and paint things.
I wish I had taken more photos with everyone I met! I was so focused on absorbing every last detail that I didn't think to take my camera out of my bag half of the time.
The conference was a success. I am so happy I splurged on myself, found a ticket and flew my butt out to Atlanta! The sessions, the information, the people, it was all so valuable and well worth the investment! I can't wait to do it again.
So awesome to see you girl, how funny we both traveled across the country to the same spot! Hope you got everything you wanted out of the conference – cannot wait to see you again!
