TGIF! Today's post is a teaser.  I'm not quite finished with the projects I'm working on.  No doubt it's the consequence of multi-tasking, starting a second project while the first dries.  It's funny, I didn't realize until I was editing photos that I worked on 2 mirror projects last night!

Prepare to be jealous.  Look at this stunning mirror I found at Salvation Army the other day:

$11 dollas! Plus 30% off.  I had to stop myself from screaming the word "MINE" after I spotted it under some hiddy picture frames.  This mirror is HEAVY.  And OLD. The protective paper on the back kept turning into powder whenever I touched it.  I was hoping to find a date on the back, but no luck.  I carried this mirror to the check-out lady and put it behind her counter, told her "don't you dare sell this to anyone else but me!"

Just kidding.  I asked her nicely if she could watch it for a few minutes while I browsed the rest of the store.  3 ladies saw me carry it to the check out counter, and said "wow nice mirror".  I replied, "thank you!" but what I really wanted to say was "back off! It's mine!"  Am I mean?

I also bought a huge empty frame, and I have secret plans for it.  Here is a (fuzzy) little peek of the detail:

Secrets! {Maniacal laugh!}  I'm being mean again.  Sorry.

The big gold mirror needs a little freshening up.  The gold has turned a weird shade of puke green. That can be fixed. Don't you just love the detail?

Where's the second mirror, you ask?  Yes, another teaser…

What ever is she working on? I'm sure you can guess it from the obvious clues in this photo.

I'm so excited for the weekend, it's going to be great! I've got my project queue loaded up, one of my closest girlfriends is coming into town and we're going to hit up the SF Giants on Saturday, and I plan to finally fork up the money and buy some chalk paint! I'll have to drive an hour to get it, but not to worry.  Oh, and if the rain let's up, I'm planning a much needed 7-mile run on Sunday.

    Have a fabulous weekend!
