Some of you may have noticed a few changes to the ol' blog over the last couple weeks. New links in the header, new buttons on the sidebar… Nothing too drastic, so don't worry if you didn't happen to notice. I'm diligently sprucing things up over here, trying to make the site easier to navigate for my family of readers. My goal is to keep things looking alive – position the new, fun, and popular content at your fingertips. That way everybody has a chance to see all the new and exciting things we've been cooking up over here.
OK, so what's the latest? A new shop!
I've decided to cut Etsy loose. Why, you might ask? Well, it just wasn't working for me. Call me crazy, but I believe you all will have more fun sticking on my site.
So tell me, what's in the shop? I've included a few of the same items that were originally listed on Etsy, including necklaces, earrings, and rings…. but more importantly, there are a few new items in the shop!

Floor pillows galore!
I wrote a tutorial the other day on how to hack the West Elm floor pouf. West Elm sells a red and white striped pouf, which I fell in love with and decided to make my own. The unfortunate thing is, the West Elm pouf looks pink in person, not red, and it's filled with what feels like pieces of styrofoam. I'm probably biased, but I believe the one I made is 100% more comfortable.
Anyway, there's a limited quantity at the moment, and at a price more than half of West Elm's price, I don't think they'll last very long!
Have you checked out Crate & Barrel lately? They are selling a $70 floor pillow that looks like this:
So, I made one that looks like this:
Not bad, right? Mine even has a zipper and pillow insert! You know, that way you can wash the pillow cover since it will be chillin' on the floor.
