  • A Successful Race & Bath Tub Envy

Hello and happy Monday! I'm moving a tad bit slower today, my apologies for the delayed post! I'm very sore, but I'm also very happy to share I  achieved a new personal record yesterday running the Big Sur Half Marathon! Weee! I dropped my time by 3 minutes from last year's PR, which I mentioned in last week's countdown.  I ran 13.1 miles in 1 hour and 53 minutes!  I was so worried that I wouldn't perform well since I've been fighting a cold the last 2 weeks.  Needless to say, I did it!  And I got mucho love and support from my BF's family and our friends.  Thank you guys again for coming out!

Since I'm seriously sore, I've been dreaming of a scalding hot bath all day. I'm dreaming of a tub full of water so hot it'll force me to forget about my burning quads and tight hammies.  I'm 'internet lazy' today, so the majority of these images are brought to you by the spectacular Pinterest.  Let me begin by saying, all these amazing bath tubs and bathrooms give me a serious case of bath tub envy.

Guess what I'm doing tonight? I'm going to throw myself in my very average, middle-class bathtub, close my eyes, and dream that I'm relaxing one of these luxurious bath tubs!

    1. A properly sized bathtub is an absolute must. You neither want your tub to be so small that you do not fit in it, nor do you want it to be so big that there is unnecessary usage of water.
