Get ready, everyone! Christmas is right around the corner. It's 40 days, 2 paychecks, 5 weeks and 6 Saturday's away! Eek, I'm already scrambling.
I broke the bank last Christmas, so this year I've decided it's going to be a DIY Christmas. News flash family & friends! I'm going to make all your gifts this year. I used to do this every year, I'd make jewelry for all the ladies, but the last year or so I chose to shop for everyone instead. I realized last year, if I'm out shopping the holiday deals, I end up also purchasing items for myself, which I never need. In my defense, I was too concerned I'd miss out on all the sales! I have to be strict with myself this year, which is why I decided to start this new holiday series, My DIY Christmas. I'll be killing 2 birds with one stone, making my own gifts and sharing the how-to with all my readers.
I'm planning for this to be a 6-part series, hopefully every Friday from now until Christmas. I've been gathering inspirational ideas, via Pinterest and other crafty and home decor websites. Here are a few of my favorites so far:
